2021 Safe Return to In-Person Instruction ESSER III
The Cal/OSHA Standards Board has approved an emergency standard to protect general industry employees from exposure to COVID-19 in the workplace. The emergency standard required employers to create a written COVID-19 prevention program. The templates below were created by our self insurance JPA to ensure compliance. Alpine County Schools merged our approved opening plans with updated modifications and have provided the updated documents below.

The California Department of Public Health(CDPH), in conjunction with the Cal/Osha requirements (above) has created the CDPH COVID-19 Guidance Checklist which satisfies the requirements for the safe reopening of schools per the CDPH guidance on schools.
