Ms. Cortney Harrington

Ms. Cortney Harrington joined our Diamond Valley Elementary School teaching staff as the 6th grade teacher.  She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology with a minor in Humanities from Florida State University and completed post-graduate coursework in Fine Arts at the Goddard College in Vermont.  While completing the CalStateTEACH teacher certification program through California State University, Fresno, she student taught at Sierra House in South Lake Tahoe and worked with students at the Adventures in Learning program in Grass Valley.  Ms. Harrington served as a substitute teacher for Lake Tahoe Unified School District until joining Diamond Valley.  She is an accomplished visual artist, musician in piano and guitar, and enjoys our area’s great outdoors by trail running, snowboarding, and ice skating.  Ms. Harrington also stepped in as the cross country coach for our Diamond Valley runners.
