Alpine County Office of Education
Alpine County Unified School District

"Alpine County is a combined Office of Education and Unified School District. We currently have three schools allowing specialized programming for students. We encourage family and community involvement in our schools and are proud of many collaborative and outreach projects.

Our largest school, Diamond Valley Elementary School,

has received recognition as a California Distinguished

School three times in a row.

Our Secondary Community Day School

and Opportunity School offer educational options for

students needing more individualized support.

Our Bear Valley Elementary School is closed for the

2011-2012 and 2012-2013 school years.

Alpine County is a wonderful place to live,

learn and play. Contact any of us for more

information on our educational programs."

Lisa Fontana, Ph.D.
Superintendent
